| The ambience of Scotch on The Rocks draws you to return. It is a house that is tastefully decorated, inviting and amazingly comfortable. It’s an absolutely relaxing place that is spacious and can accommodate (comfortably) 10 to 12 people. It has all the amenities needed for a beautiful vacation . In addition to the beautifully appointed bedrooms and the bathrooms, there is a formal living and dining room and spacious outdoor veranda that goes from one end of the house to another with a variety of comfortable seating options . There is a new jacuzzi (added since last June), a beautifully maintained swimming pool, and then steps down toward the seaside, ending in tastefully decorated gazebo with everything you can need to enjoy the ocean, from kayaks to surfboards, along with a variety of floating devices for you to relax in the crystal clear water, so private , with no crowds. However what REALLY makes Scotch on The Rocks. so special is that from the moment you arrive in the driveway and are greeted by the smiling faces of all the staff, with nice cold face towels and a welcome cocktail or fruit juice to cool you off. Those smiles greet you every day and their willingness to please you is so amazing. They sure know what TEAM is all about and work together like a well-oiled machine, where every part knows what their function is as they communicate with each other. and support each other, seamlessly. They work hard at catering to each guest, nonstop! Let’s discuss the physical environment of Scotch on The Rocks. From the moment you enter the home it is spotless and immaculate. I would rate it as more than five stars and that’s because of Ms. Pat and O’Neil. O’Neil ensures every day that the pool and Jacuzzi are clean, sanitized and ready for us to enjoy laying out fresh towels. He prepares the Beach area and Gazebo to receives us and serves as back up in the Kitchen with whatever Chef Richard needs him to do. The rest of the house is kept spotless by the most warm and pleasant lady – Ms. Pat. She seems to walk on tippy toes, so you never hear her as she moves around quietly from room to room making magic as she tidies every room. . When she is through, each room becomes spotless, inviting. and beautiful and the home smells so fresh. She is like a White tornado When it’s your bedtime she turns down your bed covers, and provides each room a cool jug of iced water and fresh glasses for the night Then there is Akiem the major mixologist for Scotch On The Rocks. Any beverage you want made, he can do it whether it’s a Bob Marley drink , a virgin Pina Colada , Margarita ,Moscow Mule or a Jack Frost and prepares them with a great attitude, great pride. and that infectious smile. He’ll dance for you sometimes. He schedules appointments at the guests’ requests, for massages , manicures and pedicures. Two very important staff who makes every guests’ tummy happy and are very satisfied from all the gourmet meals that are prepared daily are Head Chef Richard and his Sous Chef Elvis. Together these gentlemen create some amazing, gastronomical meals that go beyond 5 Star! Mr. Elvis makes the most amazing hearty and healthy dinner salads dinner creating his own salad dressings for them;. At breakfast he creates and presents the most delicious platters of fresh tropical fruits, fit for a King or Queen! Chef Richard quietly creates such a variety of meals sometimes catering to diets for folks who are Lactose and Gluten intolerant with such ease and making all palettes very happy. If seafood, is the wish, Chef Richard can make it happen! He arranges with his local fisherman to get the freshest catch of items such as Lobster, Fish and Conch . He and Mr. Elvis will create Lobster Thermidor , Grilled Lobsters, Fried Escoveitch Fish; Seafood Paella, He creates appetizers of cream cheese, pepper jelly and chives with smoked fish, Conch & Codfish Fritters, They can put together and provide sumptuous meals that everybody can enjoy for breakfasts, lunch and dinner . THE STAFF are the HEART of Scotch On The Rocks, making it THE place to visit and the place to return to every time . They know HOW to make you feel good. On that last morning when it was time to leave, it was very difficult for us to say goodbye . No one wanted to leave.☹ We look forward to returning again and again and to refer others to Scotch on The Rocks It’s an amazing experience that one should have at least once in their lifetime .
