LOCATION:
*Palm Cay Resort in Nassau, Bahamas is located about a 30 minute drive from the NASSAU airport. AIRPORT CODE IS “NAS”
*Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island is a 14 minute drive away for Casino, first class restaurants, Marina, Golf Club at One Ocean, Cabbage Beach.
SUPERMARKETS:
* Supermarket – Fresh Market is a 12 minute drive away – off Shirley Street in a shopping center called Harbor Bay.
* Super Value Supermarket is a 5 minute drive away.
* Solomon’s Supermarket is 2 minutes drive away.
The pool – there are 2 pools.
1) There is one that is 50 steps from your front door – that one is the residents’ pool and is FREE to use. The beach is also in front of that – free to use! You have some beach chairs in your unit, you are welcome to take.
2) The other pool is the pool that cost money – You can join the membership – currently about $25 per day for all guests and there is a 3 day minimum. You can use the member’s pool and bar Ink Bar over there. (There is a restaurant called the PINK OCTUPUS there and you do NOT have to be a member to enjoy that restaurant.) There is also a beach with lounge chairs there too. You can decide if you want to join the CLUB and enjoy these facilities, however there is an associated cost as above. Check with the Welcome center when you arrive and you can ask them about it as the rates and usage is subject to change.
