Amanoka on the beach, with a seven-bedroom luxury beachfront villa, is one of Jamaica’s most beautiful and luxurious villas on the stunning Discovery Bay. Being one of the largest villas in this area, its spacious verandah, massive swimming pool, and private white sand beach make it the perfect holiday destination. A barefoot walk down the lush green lawn leads to the beach and onto the clear turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea. The suspended canvas swings and the waterfront gazebo provide the ideal spots for viewing sunsets. Amanoka is one of the most preferred villas in Jamaica for discerning vacationers and celebrities.

A reflection of the literal meaning of Aman-oka, the Amanoka on the beach is a peaceful home with a serene ambiance and exquisite design. The décor is beautiful and restful. The soft interiors are based on textures such as Indonesian and Caribbean stone, teak, and bamboo. The 3 en-suite bedrooms have very tasteful interiors, and each room and bathroom is accessorized with delicate orchids. The entrance hall, large dining area, and the great room open onto a large deck with the 10-person Jacuzzi, a bamboo pavilion, comfortable lounge chairs, and an infinity edge pool.

The exterior adds to the elegance of the interiors with beautiful fountains, meandering lily ponds, and beautifully maintained gardens. The main villa and the annex are located within the garden, connected with a unique landscaped path that passes through the interior courtyard. The walled compound provides privacy to the vacationers.

Amanoka’s state-of-the-art kitchen provides extraordinary cuisine. The Jenn-Air double oven, dishwasher, microwave, 6-stove gas burner, gas grill, and bottled water server provide the best facilities that make each meal luxuriant and lavish.

Amanoka is one of the best luxury villas in Jamaica. A typical day starts with a verandah buffet of a delectable assortment of delicious foods, including freshly-squeezed orange juice, Blue Mountain coffee, freshly-baked muffins, bagels, and exotic fruits. This is followed by a complete breakfast for all the guests. Special lunches and unforgettable candlelit dinners are organized on the waterfront deck or the verandah. The verandah bar offers hors d’oeuvres and cocktail hour cocktails every evening. The expert chef and his team of 6 staff members also organize excellent beach parties with sizzling chops, steaks, lobster, or chicken from the outdoor grill.

Amanoka on the beach is a luxury villa with all the essential features of an excellent resort. The tropical pavilion offers a floating spa, one of the unique features of Amanoka. The picturesque lily pond is the location of the spa, made even more unique with its soothing waterfall borders. Right next to the spa is a customized air-conditioned gym with a treadmill, Precor Elliptical, free weights, balls, music, mats, and fitness DVDs. Right next to this is Amanoka’s Novacrylic tennis court, which provides racquets and facilities for night games. Specialists provide unique spa treatments on request.

The lovely villas on the eastern end of Discovery Bay have earned it the colloquial title of the Riviera, definitely making it one of the most valuable treasures among Jamaica villas. For the sport-loving vacationers, kayaks and snorkeling equipment are complimentary at Amanoka on the beach, while additional water sports facilities are available at the bay. The lively Ocho Rios is only 30 minutes away from Amanoka for shopping, restaurants, nightlife, more water sports, outdoor craft markets, the dramatic Dunn’s River Falls, and visits to the working plantation. The airport is nearly 60 minutes drive away from Amanoka, a spectacular drive along the dazzling seascape.

Weddings or events are NOT permitted at Amanoka.
** Two beautiful pavilions that house brand-new gym and spa facilities.
** Both pavilions are within a lushly landscaped walled garden and seem to float on a huge pond with waterfalls and lilies. They are very open, with large glass doors on three sides. Fans and air conditioners are provided for our guests’ comfort.
** The gym is 16′ x 16′ and will have a Precor elliptical machine, treadmill, free weights, inclined bench, music, T.V., exercise DVDs, and mats and balls.
** A yoga instructor can be provided at an extra cost if booked in advance.
** The spa pavilion is also 16×16. Outside is a covered trellis for wet treatments and a large open-air rain shower.
** Linda Hall of Oshun Dream Spa will provide treatments. Linda is a highly trained therapist from the U.K. She concocts her own scrubs, wraps, and massage oils from fresh Jamaican herbs, flowers, and spices.
** A list of treatments and the cost will follow shortly. We encourage your clients to book treatments in advance to avoid disappointment.
** With new gym facilities, Amanoka will have a most luxurious 7th bedroom, which will be furnished with a queen-sized bamboo bed.
** This will give Amanoka 7 bedrooms and 7 1/2 baths. All bedrooms are suitable for couples.

Other Bedroom notes:
The Bedroom nearest to the master is a king-size room with a garden view. The other room in the main villa is a huge room also with a garden view. This room has two queen size beds. The villas in the guest house have two bedrooms upstairs and two down. Three of the rooms have king-size beds, and 1 has 2 twins that can be made into a king. All the baths are the same size, and all the rooms look onto the garden and the sea beyond. The upstairs rooms have a fantastic sea view with balconies off of them.

All seven bedrooms have hair dryers, televisions, telephones, and intercoms to the bar, kitchen, staff quarters, and other guest rooms.
Both the gym and the spa are air-conditioned.
Five king bedrooms and two bedrooms with two queen beds in each.
The maximum number of allowed guests is 14. Any amount over this will require $150.00 per night per person.

We want to share many things about this villa and the booking process. We have inspected our villas personally, so don’t be shy to contact us! We would like to tell you all the finer points, the highlights, the distance from the airport, the nearest grocery store, the staff, transportation on the island, what your cook/chef can prepare for you, expectations for tipping the staff, make sure there are no hidden details or hidden costs….. things that may be important for your group! Important villa vacation notes and additional costs for all the villas in Jamaica are:
1. Grocery/ alcohol – bought at the supermarket by the chef, yourself or both! – Paid in Jamaica
2. Tips to staff – about 10% in the winter season and 15% in the summer season – calculated on the rental – paid in cash to staff in Jamaica when departing the villa.
3. Transportation – We can arrange airport transfers or Driver packages are more economical!
Things you may like to know!
• The villa has a staff of chef, butler, housekeeper, poolman/gardener
• You have your own private swimming pool
• Check in time is generally 3pm, Check out time is 11am
• No other groups will be at this villa – this is private to your group only
• Each bedroom can sleep 2 persons double occupancy.
• The villa has own linens, bath towels, pool towels – you don’t need to bring these- but bring your own favorite personal care items such as shampoos, mosquito spray or body lotions etc.
• Extra costs are going to be (a) grocery costs of whatever you or the chef buys at the supermarket (b ) tips to the staff – these 2 items are paid in Jamaica
• Please land at the Montego Bay airport (MBJ airport code)

The chef is available to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner for you – but you are also ok to go to restaurants, or you may be on tour – so this means the chef would skip a meal under your instructions. Just keep in touch with your chef on your schedule.

Please also make sure you ask for the grocery bills so that the chef and the villa leader is on the same page with regards to the grocery costs – bills should be cleared as groceries are purchased, or cleared up at least a day or two before departure. We suggest a budget of about $60-$80 per adult per day, kids are less – for food (We are just giving a wide budget, we don’t know what you are going to eat or drink on island – but we don’t want you to be caught short while on island either)
