The contemporary Long View Manor has been designed to accommodate up to 14 people in a very luxurious environment, with a variety of facilities and activities. This villa in Jamaica comprises a large main house and a charming guest cottage. Four spacious bedrooms are located within the main villa, while three additional guest bedrooms are situated in the cottage. A wonderful tennis court is located near the cottage on the lower terrace. Two minutes of leisurely strolling bring guests downhill to the middle terrace that has the charming three-bedroom cottage.

The expansive verandahs are perfect for viewing the most memorable sunsets and sunrises. Three wide steps from the 1,300 square foot east verandah leads to one of the largest terraces and private swimming pools among this group of villa rentals in Jamaica. The al fresco dining porch is located on the west verandah. The Great Room and verandahs have cool marble flooring, very suitable for dancing to the music from the outdoor-indoor sound system. Twelve French doors in the Great Room that open wide, nine ceiling fans and the nearly continuous Tradewinds on the top of Round Hill make Long View Manor very cool all year round.

The main house at Long View Manor has four luxurious bedrooms. The master suite is a spacious 1000 square feet area and offers a king-sized four poster bed, a large sitting area, a glamorous air-conditioned bathroom, a walled garden and beautiful sea views. The three guest bedrooms offer king-sized beds and en suite bathrooms. Two of these bedrooms offer ocean views. All bedrooms have lovely décor, based on tropical inspired themes with soft colors including pale lime and lemon. Amenities include air-conditioning, luxury linens, ceiling fans and state-of-the-art electronics.

The guest cottage at Long View Manor has three bedrooms, each of which has optional king-sized or twin beds and contemporary en suite bathrooms. The living room has a sofa bed and cable television. The kitchenette is equipped with all essential electronic gadgets. Wireless internet facilities are available at the guest cottage. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the glittering Caribbean Sea all day and stunning night views of the ocean with twinkling lights from cruise ships and Montego Bay city.

The living room at Long View Manor is furnished in white, complemented by green and yellow accents. The furniture is extremely comfortable and very classy. An entertainment center equipped with digital satellite system, DVD players, televisions, sound system, iPod docking stations and extensive music and video library provides ample opportunities for entertainment within the Jamaica villa.

Long View Manor has a very expansive sparkling blue swimming pool adjacent to the 1,300 square foot verandah. The lovely wicker furniture and white comfortable furnishings give the verandah a fresh and clean look.

The gardens are vibrant with an incredible collection of beautiful lilies, roses, bougainvillea and double and triple hibiscus. The gardens and lawns are very photogenic, making Long View Manor perfect for sunset weddings and family reunions amidst the flower-draped garden walls that frame the multi-hued Caribbean Sea.

Long View Manor is fully-staffed with a cook, housekeeper, butler, laundress, pool man and gardener. Cecil has been the gardener at the villa for more than 25 years and has done a marvelous job with the gardens. Lenora, the housekeeper and head of the household has worked here since she was a young girl, over 40 years ago. The cook at Long View Manor provides the most amazing meals for the guests, celebrities and stars.

Long View Manor is very child-friendly, with facilities such as high chair, stroller, toys, games and videos for children. Babysitting services are also available. The villa is perfect for a fabulous family vacation for families with children.

Long View Manor is a popular holiday destination for international celebrities, including Academy Award winning directors, producers and movie stars.

Several additional activities are available to guests at the villa at nearby locations. These include water sports such as snorkeling, jet skiing, sailing, deep sea fishing and much more. The sparkling blue swimming pool at this villa is extra large at 30’ X 53’ and is adjacent to a 1,300 sq. ft. veranda which is furnished with the most wonderful wicker furniture and white soft furnishings which gives this house such a clean and fresh feel. There is a Digital Statellite System, televisions, VCRs, sound system, music and video library. This house is very child friendly as there is a TV room with a sofa bed, games, videos, toys and stroller, and high chair.

The gardens on this spacious property are beautifully landscaped and there are manicured terraced grounds. There are wonderful bougainvilleas which adorn this property and gives it splashes of colour and has much attention from the gardener, Cecil, who has been working at Longview for over 25 years. A special mention is needed here for Lenora, the housekeeper and head of household, who has been working here for over 40 years and loves her duties at Long view. She will have many stories to tell as she can tell you she started at this villa when she was just a young lass.

A significant amenity for guests in this villa is membership at the excellent Tryall Club. On 2,200 acres, Tryall’s golf course is among the most beautiful in the world. Its 18 hillside and seaside fairways have been home to the Johnnie Walker, Mazda and other PGA championship events. The resident pro offers workshops and private lessons. The Tryall tennis club features nine Nova Cushion courts, some lit for night play, with world-class pro’s on call. All whites required.

The beach is well planned for parents and children. Have lunch at the beach bar. Work out in the well-equipped gym. Jog the marked trails. Snorkeling, kayaking, hobie cat and sunfish are complimentary. Glass bottom boats, charter fishing, a boat to the reef and any captained craft attract various fees. Enjoy the week’s events, including the Monday Night Manager’s Cocktail Party and the Wednesday and Friday night beach parties (Friday Seafood Night on the Beach Buffet is excellent).

On the hill, enjoy the historic Great House for afternoon tea and a magnificent view from the terrace.
